A New Home for Quality: Pixar E-Bikes Relocates to Expanded Manufacturing Facility

Meta Description: Pixar e-bikes announces relocation to new 30,000facility with tripled production capacity, advanced quality systems, and enhanced support for global distribution partners.

Welcome to Our New Manufacturing Home

We're excited to announce a significant milestone in Pixar's journey: the successful relocation and launch of our new production facility. After 13 years operating from our original location, growing demand for quality electric bicycles worldwide made this expansion necessary—and we're proud to share what this new chapter means for our distribution partners globally.

Our new facility represents more than additional square metres. It's a purpose-built space designed specifically for modern e-bike manufacturing, combining advanced production technology with the quality control systems our partners depend on. Whether you're distributing Pixar e-bikes in Europe, North America, Asia, or emerging markets, this relocation directly benefits your business through improved capacity, faster fulfilment, and enhanced quality assurance.

This move marks a new beginning whilst honouring our commitment to the distribution partners who've grown with us. Let's show you around our new home.

Why We Relocated: Meeting Global E-Bike Demand

The electric bicycle market continues expanding worldwide, and our previous facility simply couldn't keep pace with growing orders from distribution partners across multiple continents. Space limitations meant longer lead times during peak seasons, capacity constraints that prevented us from accepting larger orders, and testing facilities that needed modernisation to meet evolving international standards.

Our new facility solves these challenges comprehensively. Spanning 30,000 square metres—more than triple our previous space—this purpose-built manufacturing home enables us to serve the global e-bike market properly. The relocation wasn't merely about size; it was about creating an integrated production environment optimised for quality, efficiency, and scalability.

Inside Our New Facility: Built for Quality E-Bike Production

Walking into our new manufacturing space, the difference is immediate. Four 50-metre assembly lines equipped with modern automation handle everything from frame welding to final assembly. Each line operates independently, allowing us to run different models simultaneously without production conflicts—critical for partners ordering mixed model shipments.

The assembly process integrates automated precision with skilled craftsmanship. Robotic welding systems ensure frame consistency, automated alignment equipment verifies geometry accuracy, and computerised torque systems guarantee proper component installation. Experienced technicians oversee each stage, conducting visual inspections and functional checks that automation cannot replicate.

Our new quality control laboratory occupies dedicated space with professional testing equipment: frame stress analysis machines, brake performance testers, motor dynamometers, electrical safety verification systems, waterproofing test chambers, and complete vehicle simulation equipment. Every Pixar e-bike undergoes comprehensive testing before packaging—not sample testing, but verification of every single unit.

EN15194 and international certification capabilities are built into our new facility from the ground up. With testing equipment meeting European, North American, and international standards, we can certify products for diverse regulatory environments. For distribution partners, this eliminates concerns about regulatory compliance in your local markets.

The finishing process uses a Japanese Lanshi coating system with four-spray, five-bake cycles. This advanced paint technology delivers superior corrosion resistance and professional aesthetics—important whether your customers ride through Amsterdam's rainy winters, California's coastal salt air, or Asian tropical humidity.

What This Relocation Means for Distribution Partners Worldwide

Facility relocations can disrupt supplier relationships. We've managed this transition specifically to ensure continuity for existing partners whilst creating capacity for new distribution relationships globally.

Immediate benefits you'll notice:

Shorter lead times. Increased capacity and optimised workflows reduce production queues. Standard orders that previously required 35-45 days now process in 25-35 days, with rush order capabilities for urgent market opportunities.

Reliable inventory year-round. Triple capacity means we maintain stock even during traditional peak seasons. Plan your spring campaigns, holiday promotions, or new market launches knowing inventory will support your plans.

Enhanced product quality. Comprehensive testing reduces warranty issues and customer complaints. Our enhanced quality control translates directly into fewer headaches managing returns and more satisfied end customers.

Flexible order quantities. Whether you're starting with 50 units to test your market or scaling to hundreds monthly, our expanded capacity accommodates your current volume and growth trajectory. We also offer dropshipping support for partners managing lean inventory models, with stock available through our international warehouse network.

Responsive partnership support. Our expanded 3,000-square-metre office area houses dedicated teams for customer service, technical support, and order management. Faster response times to enquiries, better communication across time zones, and knowledgeable support when you need it.

Global Reach, Local Understanding

With 90% of production serving international markets, we've built our new facility with global distribution partners in mind. Pixar e-bikes currently reach customers across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, and emerging markets—and our expanded capacity positions us to support partners in additional regions.

Our eight-model product range addresses diverse market preferences: city commuters for urban markets, cargo e-bikes for family-oriented regions, folding models for space-conscious cities, and versatile designs for recreational riders. As your local market evolves, our product line adapts without requiring you to change suppliers.

We understand different markets have different needs. European partners prioritise EN15194 compliance and winter durability. North American distributors need products meeting local regulations and consumer preferences. Asian markets often require specific feature sets and price points. Our new facility's flexibility allows us to serve these diverse requirements effectively.
